LEVEL 2 SKINCARE QUALIFICATION

CIBTAC Level 2 Facial Skincare is an OFQUAL-accredited qualification which provides knowledge and practical competence in health & safety within the salon and facial skincare. We’ve trained everyone from total beginners to salon owners and some of the top UK spas including Blythswood, Gleneagles and Aman Spa.

Upon completion of this course, you’ll be in good shape to start your career as a beauty therapist as this qualification is required by most spas and salons in the industry. You will also be able to study for Level 3 Facial Skincare as holding the Level 2 qualification is a requirement for entry to the next level.

Course dates

Our next 8-week CIBTAC Level 2 Facial Skincare course starts on 9th January 2023.

  • 21st August 2023

Learning is delivered both in person at The Academy in Cumbernauld and online.

There are no industry requirements for this course, so beginners are welcome! To enrol on this course you must be 19+.

  • Fundamentals of skincare & skin types
  • Cleanse & skin analysis
  • Exfoliation
  • Facial massage
  • The use of steamer & extraction
  • Mask application
  • Tone & moisturise

Price

This qualification costs £650 plus VAT. This can be paid in full or in three interest-free payments of £260 via PayPal Finance. There is also an additional CIBTAC cost for exams of £165.

LEVEL 3 SKINCARE QUALIFICATION

Level 3 Facial Skincare is designed for anyone with a Level 2 Facial Skincare qualification who wants to progress to advanced facial treatments. The Level 3 qualification teaches the principles of cosmetic practice and achieves the requirements necessary for training in Dermaplaning, Chemical Peels, Electrical Facials or Mesotherapy.

Upon completion of this qualification, you’ll be equipped to work as a beauty therapist in salons, destination/day spas and cruise ships.

Course dates

Our next 8-12 week CIBTAC Level 3 Facial Skincare course starts on 31st October 2022.

  • 27th February 2023
  • 15th May 2023
  • 11th September 2023

To enrol on this course you must be 19+ and hold a Level 2 Facial qualification. Learning is delivered both in-person at The Academy in Cumbernauld and online.

Price
