The CIBTAC Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment is a practical-based qualification intended for assessors who assess occupational competence in an individual’s work environment.
The qualification consists of a minimum of two mandatory units:
Understanding the principles and practice of assessment
Assess occupational competence in the work environment.

This is a theory and practical based qualification. This is a course of remote online study and in-house training.
This is a great advanced qualification for those who already hold a recognised teaching qualification and want to progress on to become an Assessor.
This course is for:
Anyone over 19 year old
that have the following:
Minimum 3 years experience
and a Qualification (Level 3 equivalent) in the subject you are assessing.
This course generally takes 1-3 months to complete.
